ABSTRACT
It seems important to stress at the outset ofthis chapter that, in view ofthe interdisciplinary and cross-curricular approach taken in this book, I focus here on generic issues of ICT and assessment as opposed to assessment of ICT skills. In other words, I am concerned in the main with the question of what impact the introduction of ICT has on assessment.
