ABSTRACT
Opened in 1948, the Museum of Welsh Life, at St Fagans in Cardiff, is one of Europe’s foremost open-air museums. Its aim is to convey Welsh traditional life and culture over the centuries, both through the re-erection of original houses and other holdings from across the country and by gallery displays.
