ABSTRACT
Terms like ‘child pornography’ and ‘child abuse material’ have powerful connotations that tend to bring to mind deplorable images of children being sexually abused. The existence of this material is a serious social problem that is of international concern, and many nations have rightly criminalised the production, dissemination, and possession of such material.
