ABSTRACT

This part introduction presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in the subsequent chapters. The part attempts to analyse the findings about each co-operating organization within the framework of the several expected achievements of the project. It is concerned with the user of external aid. The part deals with a logical analysis of the process of using outside aid. The organization with a high score and grade would be expected to be a more frequent user of aid than the comfortable organization. The objective assessment of the need for aid is a problem for the suppliers of aid. If they were able to demonstrate to a chief executive that his firm was not performing at the optimum level, and then showed him what help was available, the most sceptical manager would find difficulty in ignoring such evidence.
