ABSTRACT

Fear is one of the common emotional problems with which parents have to deal. Although general suggestions are useful, the treatment in each case depends upon the individuality of the child, the conditions under which the fear was acquired, and the actual regime conditions under which it is to be cured. Parents, more than any one else, have access to information on these matters. Even in communities possessing organizations, such as habit clinics, for assisting the emotionally unadjusted child, it is still the parents who must assume the responsibility for carrying out the remedial program.
