ABSTRACT

The paranoiac's world is fraught with danger. Enemies lurk around the water cooler and threatening messages are written between the lines in memos. Conspirators plot at the back table in the lunchroom and the staff members huddled around the bulletin board are up to no good. To the paranoid boss, peril is just around every corner and behind every door. Paranoiacs suffer from a persecution complex, of sorts. They are convinced everyone, even those who attempt to befriend them, are out to exploit, conquer, and demolish. Paranoid bosses believe the office is a battlefield, and they had better be prepared, for an offensive is imminent. Their modus operandi-attack or risk being attacked.
