ABSTRACT
The military conquest of Boko Haram on July 30th, 2009 was final and decisive. The Al Jazeera television network based in Doha, Qatar, was later to air video footage of uniformed Nigeria police personnel executing hundreds of Boko Haram fighters who were made to lie down in a row at the Borno State Police Headquarters (SHQ) in Maiduguri. Some of the police officers identified in the video were later arrested and charged for culpable homicide for the extra-judicial killing of the BH fighters.
