ABSTRACT

Cassino is a good old “family” game, and can be played by two, three, or four players, for counters, small stakes, or just for the score. The full pack of fifty-two cards is used, scores may be kept on a sheet of paper or on a cribbage board, and each hand is a game in itself, being settled for immediately. When four play, two usually play against two, the partners sitting opposite each other, as at Whist; otherwise the play is “all against all.”
