ABSTRACT
The reader will remember that, in relation to a given body of knowledge, a minimum vocabulary is defined as one having the two properties (1) that every proposition in the given body of knowledge can be expressed by means of words belonging to the minimum vocabulary, (2) that no Word in this vocabulary can be defined in terms of other words in it. In the present chapter I wish to show the connection of this definition with structure.
