ABSTRACT
The purpose of this Part is to provide possible interpretations of the concepts of science, in terms of possible minimum vocabularies. It will not be asserted that no other interpretations are possible, but it is hoped that, in the course of the discussion, certain common characteristics of all acceptable interpretations will emerge. In the present chapter we shall be concerned to interpret the word “time”.
