ABSTRACT

In this chapter we consider how you can develop your own thinking and learning processes to ensure that they support you when you take leadership roles. We are very familiar with the experiences of thinking and learning but often have not made a conscious attempt to improve the ways in which we carry out these processes. First we consider why it is important to be aware of how we think and learn and how this connects to leadership and change. We then look more closely at ways of thinking that can support your development as a leader.
