ABSTRACT
Where should a multimedia authoring project take place? As a teacher you may not have a choice as the decision will be based on whether the school has a computer room that is available to be booked, or two machines at the side of the classroom; whether the machines have the correct software installed, and how many are working at any one time. A school decision regarding computer location will have already been made based on network capability, convenience, security, finance and structure of the school building and classrooms as well as on an educational theory of computers in schools.
