ABSTRACT

In most English literature Tai Chi Chuan, abbreviated as TCC, is a traditional Chinese exercise form derived from martial arts folk traditions, handed down from generation to generation for more than 1,200 years. In the Chinese Phonetic Alphabet, this exercise form is expressed as Tai Ii Quan, or, by putting them together, Taijiquan. Here the word "Chuan" means boxing and in some literature this word has been omitted.
