ABSTRACT
This chapter is concerned with drawings produced either spontaneously by the aid of visual memory or by copying visual models. This type of drawing contrasts with that already investigated since protective relations played no part in the earlier experiments and the drawings were based on tactile rather than visual perception. These experiments demonstrated that under these conditions topological relations are grasped earlier than euclidean shapes when haptic perception is concerned.
