ABSTRACT
The previous chapters have shown how projective and geometrical concepts take shape concurrently. It has already come to look as if their development is in fact closely interdependent. Thus Chapter XIII has made clear that the final stage in the evolution of the basic Euclidean concepts coincides with that of the projective ones.
