ABSTRACT
The term ‘‘chartering’’ refers to the arrangement of the use of vessels and containers for the purpose of the transport of cargo by sea. Several terms are used for the purpose of chartering:
u bareboat (demise); u voyage charter; u time charter; u slot chartering (containers).
