ABSTRACT
Your ability to observe children and interpret their behaviour is a basic teaching skill which provides you with the knowledge you need to teach them. Unless you teach in a very small school you are likely to have a new class of children each year. This chapter is concerned with ways in which you can prepare for a new class.
