Once you have formulated your priorities, compiled your list of possible internships, and prepared your CV, it is time to fill out your applications. Allow plenty of time. The one thing that all internship applicants agree on is that preparing applications took much more time and effort than they had anticipated. Mellott, Arden, and Cho ( 1997, p. 193) advised, "The application process can be extremely time consuming, and it requires good organization and effective planning in order to successfully meet the required deadlines."
