ABSTRACT
Examiners set questions to find out what candidates know and understand. As with all sections of this book, however, you are advised to check your specification and specimen question papers/units so that you become familiar with the approach adopted by your particular examining board or group. There are broadly three kinds of questions at AS-level:
essays;
problems;
stimulus response questions … questions where you are asked questions based on source material.
