ABSTRACT
That there are several different forms of useful clinical interviewing comes as a distinct surprise to all but a few students. Early in a seminar focusing on psychotherapeutic process, a first-year resident takes the role of a depressed medical student and I demonstrate two of these forms in two 4-minute interviews.
