Social sharing is commonly described as the broadcasting of our thoughts and activities which suits the concept of Twitters short message format because marketers actively use the messaging site to communicate directly with their target audience. Social media marketers should be aware that the classifications settled on should be considered imprecise and all aspects of social networking and sharing could and should be considered interchangeable. Image-based social media platforms which normally include short video clips provide another channel for the product, brand or organization to engage with the market. One of the most famous videos to go viral on social media was Cadburys 2007 drumming gorilla, yet it had been seen on TV before it became a YouTube success. Companies in the entertainment industry dominate this social media space because they have the material for the site if it is not ads for their products it is that the actual product can be presented as a video.
