Badging System Testing and Evaluation book
Throughout development, badging systems must be evaluated to ensure they are fulfilling their intended purposes. This chapter begins by identifying the subsystems involved in most badging systems that should be evaluated, and require some unique consideration. Further, it describes specific factors that can be measured when testing a badging system, how they should be measured, and what they ultimately mean for the system’s design. The chapter also provides a sampling of useful methodologies that can be implemented to test the system. Ultimately, this chapter serves to help users learn how to properly evaluate their badging systems, and how to interpret and adjust in response to the results from that evaluation.
