ABSTRACT
I conclude with a postmortem of sorts, assessing the unrealized political potentials of piracy. I re-emphasize the ambiguity of piracy: how it is situated as a component of wider class struggles, the conflicts among different class fractions, and the ways in which it has acted as a motor of technological development, leading to further struggles.
