ABSTRACT

Chapter 4 continues the pattern of Chapters 2 and 3 by exploring, this time, the world-building strategies that have been employed in and across a range of Walking Dead mobile gaming platforms, looking across different kinds of devices and technologies. I argue that interactive mobile-based technologies present new opportunities for philosophical world-building on account of the degree of moral choice and ontological ambiguity that these kinds of technologies afford, offering users interactive philosophical experiences whose moral choices are given greater weight on account of their perceived proximity to the real world.
