ABSTRACT
Since graphology (handwriting analysis of personality) purports to have scientific validity, the distinction between experimental science and pseudo-science is examined in depth. The historiography of graphology is reviewed, as are research studies focusing on its validity. The existing research reveals that personality assessment based on handwriting analysis has no scientific validity whatsoever.
