ABSTRACT
Chapter Two deals with the spiritual mentors of al-Qaraḍāwi: Hassan al-Banna, Hajj Muhammad Amin al-Husseini and Sayyid Qutb. This chapter presents the ideologies and activities of the three figures mentioned above regarding the Palestinian issue and their attitude toward the Jews. Al-Qaraḍāwi’s thought is a composite of the thought of those figures whom he considers as his spiritual mentors.
