The campaign organised by BAAT and the NUT to gain comparable status with adult education lecturers

This chapter will describe the joint BAAT-NUT campaign for improved salaries and structural improvements in the employment of art therapists, in which the issue of comparability with other occupational groups needed to be addressed. At the same time, the question of content and level of art therapy training had to be considered, and these deliberations will be examined in detail in Part V.
