ABSTRACT
Sir Aubrey Lewis was born in 1900 and died in 1975. He spent his first twenty-six years in Adelaide, then went to Britain and stayed there for the rest of his life, apart from one brief return visit. He planned to return to Australia after he retired, but unfortunately his wife died, and he was unable to make the journey.
