ABSTRACT
To keep costs to a minimum a decision was made to appeal for help in breaking up and removing the bed. A letter and notice to parents resulted in offers of labour and tools, staff also volunteered to help. The date was set, the skip was ordered, and one sunny Saturday morning the volunteers assembled at school to accomplish their task.
