ABSTRACT
Combining Programming and Word Processing. Word processing has provided major success models for the use of computers. It seems a natural conclusion to combine Logo with text-processing capabilities—a goal of the Logo Writer system. Additional design goals of this recent system (which is in widespread use now) were to lower the threshold of getting acquainted with computers and to be able to mix text and graphics. The programming itself can be applied to the text editor, providing the capability for customizable tools.
