ABSTRACT
As discussed in the last chapter, validity can be demonstrated by the degree to which statements converge with information obtained from other independent, concurrently available data sources, or from criterion events observed at a later time. If a test (or any other response sample) provides a reliable statement that corresponds reasonably with descriptions from other data sources, the question then becomes: what is the value of the statement?
