ABSTRACT

Hemispheric specialization of function is a popular research area that is prominently featured in many introductory texts (e.g. Ruch. 1984; Wortman, Loftus, & Marshall. 1981). We recently completed a series of experiments on this topic for our undergraduate research methods course and found them to be very useful. This article briefly outlines the instructional advantages of this topic and describes two simple experiments that can be conducted readily in classroom settings.
