ABSTRACT

No single style works every time when it comes to classroom management. If you teach more than one group of students, don’t be surprised when a strategy that works like magic with one class bombs with another. Not all students respond alike. Effective classroom management is a work in progress—a plan tweaked and honed during the year and throughout your career. Be open to adjusting your approach for different types of students, and don’t give up on the first try. Plan ahead, but realize that trial and error often become your greatest teachers.
