ABSTRACT
Sadly, almost every class has at least one outcast or social misfit who just isn’t accepted by other students. All too often, this student becomes the source of jokes, mocking, and mistreatment. It is up to you to help students realize that such behavior is not tolerated in your classroom. When an incident with this student occurs, take immediate action—looking the other way only increases problems.
