ABSTRACT
How to reward appropriate behavior is a personal, philosophical question you must determine for yourself. As with many choices, there are pros and cons and differing opinions by experts. From retail rebates to good behavior parties in the classroom, reward systems are common in Western society. Despite this trend, some teachers and experts in the field believe that rewarding good behavior is merely bribing students to do what they should do anyway.
