If ever there is a time for classroom management challenges, it is when an unexpected teacher is in the room. Some students view this time as a chance to challenge the rules. Other students may act out because they feel insecure in the absence of their usual teacher. Though you may think you cannot possibly miss school your first year, it is in your students’ best interest to plan now for a possible absence.
