ABSTRACT
Attendance. Check attendance quickly with “name sticks.” Near the entrance to the classroom, place a container of Popsicle sticks, each one bearing the name of a student. A second similar container is placed on your desk. When students arrive to class, they move their stick from the container by the door to the can on your desk. Seeing who is absent is as simple as checking the container by the classroom door.
