ABSTRACT

You have a voice—in your classroom and the learning environment—no matter how soft-spoken you may believe you are. In fact, your voice is your most powerful tool! It can quiet a loud classroom with barely a whisper; when you speak softly, students must quiet down to hear you. Your voice in song can gain attention. Even if you can’t sing, try it anyway. It still will get students’ attention and may provide a moment of comic relief to the day!
