ABSTRACT
Older students respond well to behavior contracts. A behavior contract states the desired action, the consequence for not performing the desired action, the amount of time the contract is to be used (reasonable and developmentally appropriate to students’ age), any rewards, and the signatures of all parties. A sample contract is shown here.
