ABSTRACT
Begin each day with a very effective instructional strategy by posting the day’s tasks in a prominent place. Whether you use a whiteboard near the classroom entrance, the main board, or another visible space, the daily agenda should be part of students’ routine. This agenda includes a daily independent task, or morning work, that students begin when they arrive to class (see Daily Task).
