ABSTRACT
The end of the school day is important. It is a time to review what was learned during the day and to leave the room in a calm and orderly manner. Dismissal time, however, can be quite chaotic as students busily gather homework, books, coats, and last-minute notes for home to make their bus on time. While directing students, teachers also may be listening to office announcements regarding students, buses, and reminders. Organized dismissals are essential!
