ABSTRACT
No doubt you will have students who leave your room during the day to go to a special education room. To help these students remember when to leave and to avoid calling attention to their departure, give them a reminder clock. Tape a paper clock with their set departure time on the corner of the student’s desk. A small battery-operated alarm or the student’s own watch work well for older elementary students, because it allows more autonomy as the student sets and turns off the alarm.
