ABSTRACT

You don’t have to be the only go-to source in your classroom; students can help one another. A student help desk provides a personal resource center that empowers students and frees you up to help students who particularly need your attention. When students are working independently, they can go to the help desk before asking you. The student of choice for the help desk depends on the project and ability required. Obviously, the helper student during math projects should be strong in math. Also, the student in charge should be able to explain directions and not just provide answers.
