ABSTRACT
When he asks her why the police brought her to the hospital her eyes tear up and she sits down hard in the chair and begins to sob. Dr. Matthews coaxes out of Sally the story of the last seven weeks, including suddenly leaving home, her excitement at arriving in New Orleans, and the many ups and downs she has experienced over the seven-week period. He notes in particular that Sally reports very little sleeping, and only sporadic eating during this time.
