ABSTRACT

The McClintocks sat down at the dinner table precisely at six o'clock p.m. as had been their tradition every night since the children had been born. The McClintocks had decided that a regular and consistent routine was important in the lives of their young children. Given that both of them had full-time careers, however, such a routine was impossible to accomplish alone. So the hiring of Brighid and her subsequent stellar performance had been a blessing. Brighid had been hired as nanny and quickly settled into the dynamics of the family. The children adored her, and the McClintocks had nothing but high praise for her performance.
