ABSTRACT
Human beings are complicated, exciting creatures. One of the wonderful things about them is their ability to figure out why things are the way they are. Another wonderful aspect of human beings is their potential for emotional and intellectual change. No longer do people view the world as flat; no longer are sun and rain and thunder the result of the good and evil thoughts and acts of people; and changing rapidly are long-held ideas about racial differences, the value of men and women and the horizons of life in general.
