ABSTRACT
The field of sexuality counseling is moving so rapidly that the only way to keep abreast is to belong to one or more professional organizations. The counselor then receives newsletters, journals, and conference notices, and is put on mailing lists for new information. In addition, participation in professional organizations is an indication of commitment when applying for a new position or further certification.
