ABSTRACT
Every baby is born a sexual being and can be celibate throughout life, or enjoy private sexuality such as fantasy, erotic media, and self pleasuring (masturbation). In addition, however, individuals are presented with opportunities for sexual interaction with and influence from others. A knowledge of interpersonal dynamics, communication, and social/relationship/family patterns are essential for competent sex-related counseling.
