ABSTRACT

In Chapter 1 of Enhancing Sew Esteem, the Johari Window is discussed. In the blind and unknown quadrant are positive qualities of oneself which have not as yet been owned. These positive qualities are frequently projected outside of the person (see discussion on projection, Chapters 3 and Chapter 4). By discovering such unclaimed parts, one can fill in missing pieces of self-concept. Identifying strengths as well as weaknesses is crucial for self-esteem enhancement.
