ABSTRACT
Professionals working in the field of human behavior need to be well versed in theory. Although the study of theory is in ill repute in some schools that prepare counselors and other professionals in the field of human relationships, it is inconceivable that counselors and other similar professional persons can be effective without utilizing a set of psychological principles that explain the dynamics of human behavior.
